There are few things more gratifying than customizing your setup to something you truly love, and the final touch is often finding the perfect drip tip. Wide-bore, super short, Chuff-style, and beyond, there are unlimited sizes and styles available for all styles of vapers. Today I had the luxury of having a brief chat with Joe Zygmunt (co-owner along with Timothy Butz) of Vaportactics out of Whitehall, Pennsylvania.
For those who don't know Vaportactics, they only make some of the most pristine, well-machined, and ultimately badass drip tips on the market. They have everything from super short, tight bore Teflon drip tips to wide-bore, Grade 5 Titanium drip tips and they are all fantastic. Keep reading after the break for my chat with Joe regarding what Vaportactics stands for and what to expect from them in the coming months!
Coval Vapes: So, Joe, how long have you been making drip tips?
Joe @ Vaportactics: As of right now we have been doing it just over a year, started out doing only titanium and 316 Stainless. Now we produce 316, Ti, Teflon, Acrylic, Stabilized Wood, and Hybrid metal tips.
CV: When you started Vaportactics, what did you set out to do? What was the company’s goal?
Joe: To make the highest quality products for a reasonable price. We always want to make the best no matter how big or small the part is.
CV: What makes Vaportactics drip tips special compared to others on the market?
Joe: The finish quality for sure, the more expensive tips in our line are finished the same inside as they are outside. If you pick up a Ti Groovey with no anodizing, you can really see what we mean. We also test design on things as small as drip tips. Flow properties, feel, etc. Probably the final thing that makes us unique is our cleaning process and packaging. Each tip goes through a 4 step bathing process and QC before packaging. When you receive the product you can use it right away. No machine oil, no gunk.
CV: Anything exciting we can expect to see soon from Vaportactics?
Joe: Vaportactics has taken on manufacturing multiple regulated mods. The Fulgoris from Diablo, will be manufactured, assembled and warrantied by Vaportactics. That is a DNA40 mod designed for subtanks/kayfuns. The Styx from Garage of Creations, we will also be manufacturing and assembling going forward. Which is a SX350 dual 18650 with 20x1 Hybrid. Vaportactics also was just certified to make Z2 Accessories for House of Hybrids mods. This makes us the second company ever to achieve that priviledge. So we will be releasing our first HoH accessory soon. 2015 will be really busy for us, we have multiple collaboration projects, private label projects, and of course our own stuff. So be on the lookout.
